Arno Hold has an impressive background in international affairs and political economy, with a focus on intellectual property protection, global value chains, and international public affairs. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of St. Gallen, and a postgraduate Master of International Law & Economics from the World Trade Institute at the University of Bern.

Arno has notable experience as an Executive Director at AIPPI, an international association for the protection of intellectual property. He was also a former Dean of External Relations and lecturer on international trade regulation at the University of St. Gallen. Additionally, he has worked as a senior economic advisor at Trade Pacts, and as a fellow and senior consultant at the International Trade Policy Unit & Centre for International Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

As an experienced project director and coordinator of international cooperation, Arno Hold has developed skills in project management at the intersection of industry, public sector, international organizations, and research. He has also served as program director and lecturer for the WTI/CUHK Summer Program on Intellectual Property at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and as a visiting research scholar at The University of Hong Kong.
