The main role of the value chain adviser team in the DFiD funded Urban Food Security, Livelihoods and Markets (UFSLM) program implemented by GIZ is to ensure that the different components of the program and interventions from other development partners, e.g. EU, and NGOs, e.g. ACTED, are coordinated. In this way we hope to achieve synergies and a better response to the needs of the rural and urban population in the Greater Bahr el Ghazal states in South Sudan.
