Erin Weed is a communication strategist, speaker, and entrepreneur with a diverse background in media, marketing, public relations, and violence prevention. Erin's career started with Public Affairs and Media Relations at top PR and non-profit firms in Chicago. She then moved to NYC, producing documentaries and Reality TV shows until her friend's murder near Eastern Illinois University pushed her to create Girls Fight Back (GFB), a company focused on empowering and preventing violence. Erin sold GFB in 2013 but remains an advisor to the company. Erin is a Harvard alumni with a degree in business communication, holds a degree in Communications, and Public Relations from Eastern Illinois University, as well as studying Painting at the Paris College of Art. Currently, Erin is the Founder of The Dig and serves as a Message Strategist at Erin Weed Inc., helping individuals and organizations to simplify their message and amplify their truth. Her unique approach to unearthing purpose and authentic communication has helped global clients, including Google, the NFL, and Facebook.
