Albert E. White is a highly experienced business and finance advisor with over 30 years of experience. He has worked in various sectors, including technology, healthcare, energy, disaster services, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence. Mr. White is known for his visionary skills in identifying market niches and was the CEO of two energy companies and a senior manager at several technology companies.
Prior to his current consulting work, Mr. White served as the Vice President of Corporate Communications and was a part of the original management team at Network Solutions. He played a central role in promoting the use of the Internet to the global community and faced many challenges in these early years. In his book, "Race for the Net," he discusses the difficulties he faced and shares his experience in the chapter entitled "Selling the Invisible."
Mr. White's experience in finance and investments is extensive, having worked as a senior consultant to Safeguard Scientific, a venture capital company. He also worked as an international banking officer at JPMorgan and Bankers Trust Company. In 2016, he formed Polaris Advisory Group, LLC and Polaris Solutions Inc., which provide funding and marketing strategies for minority and women-owned businesses with a focus on technology commercialization.
As a noted presenter for major technology conferences and organizations, Mr. White has been featured in several high-profile publications such as the New York Times, Black Enterprise Magazine, and New York Daily News. In 2017, he was honored as one of the outstanding minority business persons in the Capital Region (Maryland, DC, and Virginia).
Mr. White holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Economics from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business. Additionally, he completed post-graduate work in marketing strategy at the University of Michigan.
