George Deriso is an experienced and knowledgeable individual who has made significant contributions in the fields of technology, teaching, entrepreneurship, and startups. With a strong passion for gadgets from a young age, he cultivated his skills by tinkering with watches, electronics, and appliances, and even improved their functionality. George's enthusiasm for digital advancement led him to self-teach computer coding, starting with assembler and progressing to high-level languages.

Combining his love for technology with his knack for working with people, George embarked on a teaching career in public schools, where he aimed to bring technology into the educational environment. However, he soon realized the need to bridge the gap between technology and business. This realization sparked his interest in dissecting, evaluating, and reconstructing organizations to enhance their operations.

With his newfound passion for business, George joined AT&T where he gained valuable insights into what not to do in the corporate world. Seeking a more entrepreneurial environment, he ventured into the startup realm, which led him to work with several startup companies. Though he experienced failures along the way, these experiences shaped his understanding of entrepreneurship and motivated him to explore new avenues.

George's entrepreneurial journey took a significant turn when he joined Apple, a company that balanced structure with entrepreneurship. During his over a decade-long tenure at Apple, he accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in solving complex problems and driving successful outcomes. With his expertise, he contributed to raising capital, selling companies, negotiating strategic deals, and filling strategic gaps for organizations worldwide.

Currently, George dedicates his time to teaching and coaching entrepreneurs as an adjunct professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado. He is also actively involved in various organizations, serving on boards and providing consulting services. His areas of expertise revolve around technology, teaching, entrepreneurship, startups, and business improvement.
