Otto Volgenant is a Dutch-based lawyer and partner at Boekx Advocaten Media & IP, a boutique law firm fully dedicated to media, intellectual property, and privacy. With over 20 years of legal work under his belt, Otto is a well-experienced lawyer who has made his name in high-profile cases protecting journalistic sources, the freedom of speech, and privacy. Otto is a graduate of VU University Amsterdam in 1993, and in 1997, he completed his post-doc education IT law cum laude.

Otto Volgenant represents clients in the media and privacy sectors, including publishers, advertising agencies, TV production companies, NGOs, journalists, internet companies, and broadcasters.
