Matt Oasis is a technology entrepreneur, investor, and activist with a passion for innovative ideas that benefit the broader community. Matt's professional journey stems from being a 911 paramedic in the South Bronx and Harlem to working as a wildland firefighter, journalist, and a reporter at The New York Times. As an entrepreneur, he founded Oasis, a startup championing cutting-edge technology solutions, AI, robotics, and machine learning, addressing social impact concerns that affect the bottom 99%. Some of his successful ventures include SpeakerText, acquired by CloudFactory, and Dishcraft Robotics, which he co-founded. As an investor and adviser, he has worked closely with several startups, including tbh, NotEvil, and Guerrilla Capital, to name a few. He is a graduate of Columbia University, where he studied International Relations, and Servite High School.
