I currently teach Professional Sales and Marketing, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, and College & Career Readiness and am a DECA advisor in the Career and Technical Education Department at Mountain Ridge High School. I work to help students develop academic, technical, and professional skills in the foundational and functional areas of marketing including: economics, consumer behavior, product and service management, selling and promotion, risk management and distribution. I also work to help students develop professional skills including communication, collaboration, professionalism, ethical and legal practices, and more by implementing state and district approved curriculum, documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; developing lesson plans; modeling necessary skills to perform assigned tasks; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

As Store Manager,  I supervised all Department Managers and Customer Service Associates at the Prescott location.  I was responsible for the performance of all facets of the operation of each of the store’s departments (Inventory Control, Front Counter/Customer Service, Video, Music, Video Games, Books, and Novelties) as well as the overall operation of the store including evaluation of profit and loss and other store and chain financials.  My experience in driving sales and providing customer service helped the Prescott location move to one of the top three performing stores in the New Mexico and Arizona division.

As Customer Service and Call Center Manager, I was responsible for both strategic and day-to-day operations of the Customer Service department including preparing annual and monthly budgets, supervision of staff, development of strategic initiatives, and collaboration with managers of other key departments.  While at Sebastian I was able to accomplish the development and implementation of an ongoing customer service survey for install and repair of telecom products, tracking and analysis of disconnect reasons, automated late payment customer reminder calls, unit sales tracking, a comprehensive compendium of customer service processes and procedures, as well as other strategic and tactical initiatives.  I was also assigned as Product Manager for the company's IPTV Video and High Speed Internet products that gave me a better insight into analysis of company financials.

My primary function was to drive incremental revenue and reduce the amount of churn in the commercial and residential call centers. I was responsible for rollout of West Region and national promotions, incentives, and marketing campaigns. I managed implementation of both in-house and third party outbound telemarketing campaigns as well as service level agreements for sales initiatives through alternate sales channels.
