Patrick McCully is an experienced climate, water, and clean energy thought leader based in the Bay Area. He has more than 25 years of experience advocating for and implementing sustainability policies and projects. McCully has an extensive network of contacts among leaders in the environmental and solar energy community. He has been the Executive Director of Black Rock Solar, a nonprofit that built more than 80 solar photovoltaic projects for nonprofits, schools, and municipalities in Nevada. Before joining Black Rock Solar, McCully was the Executive Director of International Rivers, an environment and human rights advocacy group based in Berkeley. McCully has a B.A. in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Nottingham.
