Luis Rivera de los Arcos is a highly experienced and accomplished veterinarian and educator. With a degree and doctorate in veterinary medicine from the prestigious Universidad Complutense de Madrid, he has taught at the same institution for over three decades, rising to the rank of Catedrático de Fisiología at the Facultad de Farmacia. He has also held academic positions at a number of other institutions, including positions as an academic visitor at Oxford University and the University of Aarhus, where he focused on pharmacology and the intracellular and extracellular management of Ca2+. In addition to his work in academia, Rivera de los Arcos has served as a guest professor and expert consultant in neurobiology and neurosciences, and in the creation of in vitro models of neuropathic pain.
