Christopher Dearlove is a highly accomplished Managing Director at the National Arts Centre, Centre national des Arts. With a formidable background in artistic programming, touring, collective bargaining, and contract negotiation, Christopher is an asset to any organization. He studied at the University of Toronto and Queen's University, where he obtained B. Mus. and M. Mus degrees in Music Performance. Christopher began his career at the National Arts Centre as an Orchestra Operations Associate, where his incredible work ethic and dedication to excellence quickly led to further promotions, including becoming an Orchestra Operations Manager, Orchestra Manager, and General Manager of Canada Scene. Now, as the Managing Director of the National Creation Fund, Christopher continues to be a game-changer in the industry, overseeing the funding of Canadian-made works of art. His experience in the music industry is extensive, having also served as a Lieutenant and Drum Major at Fort Henry National Historic Site.
