Emma Ruffin is an accomplished sustainability expert and community organizer with a penchant for promoting eco-friendly living. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder and has studied sustainability, tropical ecology, and Spanish at CIEE Monteverde. Emma co-leads and facilitates The Agility Lab at The Nature Conservancy, which focuses on transforming how people work together for a sustainable future, and has been a part of various organizations such as Desert Raven Design, Boulder.Earth, and Impact Hub Academy.

Emma's professional experience includes being the Climate Action Track Lead at Impact Hub Academy, as well as the Collaboration Catalyst at C3 Boulder: Climate Culture Collaborative. She has also served as a vertical landscape designer at CIEE Monteverde and was the Membership Coordinator-Intern at The Second Kitchen: Food Cooperative. Emma has a passion for writing and has worked as a Freelance Writer for various clients, including elephant journal.
