Andres Fonseca, a physician, psychiatrist, and senior executive in the mental health industry, has made significant contributions to the field throughout his career. After completing his studies in medicine and surgery at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Fonseca trained in various psychiatric specialties, including adult and old age psychiatry, rehabilitation psychiatry, and neuropsychiatry. He also earned an MSc in psychiatric research from University College London.

Fonseca has held numerous positions in his professional career, serving as the medical director of one of the largest independent mental health providers in the UK and co-founding Thrive, a company that creates evidence-based digital tools to detect, prevent, and treat mental health conditions. He is also an honorary lecturer at the Division of Psychiatry in University College London and the Department of Psychology at University of Roehampton.
