His expertise includes search ranking, personalized recommendations, display ad optimization, Q&A system, conversational bot, and computer vision. Trung has published several papers in prestigious journals and conference proceedings such as NIPS, ICML, AI Journal, and submitted two patents.

Trung Nguyen is an alumnus of the National University of Singapore where he pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science. He has also served as a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the National Institute of Informatics in Japan.
