Denise Jacobs is a speaker, author, and creativity evangelist dedicated to helping individuals unleash their creativity by overcoming their inner critic and activating their creative minds. As the founder and CEO of The Creative Dose, she has worked with companies worldwide, including Google, Facebook, and GitHub. Denise has written several books, including Banish Your Inner Critic and The CSS Detective Guide, and co-authored the Smashing Book #3: Redesign The Web, and InterAct with Web Standards: A holistic guide to web design. She is also the head instigator of The Creativity (R)Evolution, a movement aimed at spreading creativity as a tool for positive change, and is the founder of Rawk The Web, which is focused on increasing the number of diverse tech experts.

Denise has delivered keynote speeches and training sessions at events such as South By Southwest Interactive, NDC Oslo, and TEDxRheinMain, among others. She has studied at several universities, including the University of Washington and Stanford University. Denise's diverse professional experience includes positions such as founder and CEO of The Creative Dose, former consultant technical trainer at Knowledge United, and former member and instructional designer at Web Standards Project.
