Maxeme Tuchman is a notable figure in the business and education community. With an extensive background in policy advising, education equity, and program management, Tuchman has found success as the CEO and Co-Founder of Caribu, an interactive video-calling platform designed to connect families, friends, and children virtually. Her achievements with Caribu have earned the app numerous accolades, including recognition as one of the Apple Store's "Best Apps of 2020" and as a leading educational technology company.
Tuchman's educational background includes studying fashion design and earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from New College of Florida. She went on to earn a Master of Public Policy in Education and an MBA from Harvard University. After completing her formal education, Tuchman worked in several roles related to education reform, including as a Teach For America corps member, the Executive Director of Teach For America Miami-Dade, and a consultant for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She also gained experience in program management while working in Mayor Bloomberg's bullpen, where she co-created the NYC Civic Corps and managed The NYC Waterfalls art installation.
Tuchman's impressive accomplishments have earned her numerous awards and recognitions, including being named a Toyota Mother of Invention by Women In The World and Female Tech Leader of the Year by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. She is also graduate of the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs and the Miami Fellows Leadership Program.
