Isidro Laso is a renowned tech entrepreneur and startup expert who has dedicated his career to supporting startups and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Europe. He is currently a Cabinet Expert at Commissioner Gabriel's cabinet for Innovation, Research, Education, Culture, Youth at the European Commission. Isidro is also a thought leader at the United Nations ITU, a Continuing Fellow at Cambridge University - CSAP, and a UK scout leader.

Isidro's passion for nurturing startups and entrepreneurs saw him found a software business immediately after studying agronomo at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He then went on to set up a junior enterprise at his college while at the university. Isidro has also worked in strategic consultancy at Bossard and in research and innovation projects.

Isidro's expertise in the startup and entrepreneurship space is widely recognized across Europe. He served as the Head of Startup Europe at the European Commission, where he was responsible for all the organization's startup initiatives. Isidro has also been a professor at Spain's Distance Learning University and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Additionally, he previously served as a member of the executive board at Asociación de Marketing de España - Asociación MKT.
