Wil Torres

Wil Torres is a higher education professional dedicated to creating inclusive spaces for self-discovery and personal growth. With a focus on strengths identification and continuous improvement, Wil aims to positively impact the communities he is a part of. His passion lies in fostering conversations on diversity, equity, and access in education. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership at USC Rossier School of Education, Wil holds a master's degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from UCLA. He also completed studies in Integrative Biology in the PhD program at the University of California, Berkeley. Wil is currently the Director of Outreach for MBA Admissions at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he previously held several roles such as Interim Director of Outreach, Associate Director of Outreach for Diversity, and Assistant Director of Outreach for Diversity. Prior to his tenure at Stanford, Wil served as an External Reader at Harvard Law School and in various admissions roles at Stanford University, including Associate Director of Undergraduate Admission for the Diversity Outreach Team, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission for the Diversity Outreach Team, and Admission Counselor for the Diversity Outreach Team. Additionally, Wil has experience as a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley.
