David Stagney is a business executive trained by MIT's Leaders for Global Operations Program with two decades of experience in delivering transformational improvements in operational performance, customer service, and profitability across a range of companies. With a focus on empowering teams, fostering open communication and transparency, and creating a culture of honesty and teamwork, Stagney has successfully executed turnarounds of complex, fast-paced business units. His success includes turning around a $200M business unit where he led by example and was a great listener, clarifying roles and responsibilities and focusing on creating a culture of empowerment that resulted in dramatic growth in revenue and gross margin improvement.

Stagney studied Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and earned an MBA in Operations Management from MIT's Sloan School of Management. He is a former Leaders for Manufacturing Intern at Boeing, Fellow at MIT Leaders for Global Operations, Product Engineer at Moog Space and Defense Group, Director of Operations, Commercial Aircraft at Moog Inc., and Director, Operations Analysis and Process Management at Capital One. He is currently a Senior Director at Pratt & Whitney, heading the GATORWORKS team.
