Research Intern

As a  Research Intern, I worked on the project 'The effect of the influx of Chinese students and knowledge workers in the Netherlands'. My main tasks involved quantitative analysis of survey data and writing a policy report. I also participated in conferences,  met with stakeholders and assisted with the quantitative content for the book "Nederland door Chinese ogen. Van groepstoerist tot internetjournalist ", written by F.Pieke and G.Pinkster.

As a student assistant, I supported professors and staff at the department of Geography, Planning and International Development studies with the preparation of their courses. I assisted with a fieldwork project on 'attitudes towards asylum seekers", supported students with their individual research projects, gave feedback on conducted interviews and helped with the structuring and analysis of the quantitative data.
