Erik L. is a co-founder and managing partner at Park Square Executive Search, LLC, specializing in recruiting top talent for the Life Sciences and Healthcare industries. With over 26 years of experience in the life sciences industry and executive search, Erik offers his expertise in leadership consulting and talent advisory services to clients that are growth-oriented in nature, predominantly in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medtech sectors. He has worked with global multinational corporations and early-stage companies alike, conducting engagements ranging from technical to operational roles.

Prior to co-founding Park Square, Erik worked as the Managing Director, Life Sciences at J. Robert Scott, and was the Managing Partner of Heidrick & Struggles' Biotechnology Practice and Partner-in-Charge of the firm's San Francisco office. He also worked with Korn/Ferry International as a Client Partner. Before entering the search profession, he held senior operating roles with multiple life sciences companies, including Sentigen Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: SGHL), ACLARA BioSciences Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLA), SciQuest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SQST), and Qiagen Inc. (Nasdaq: QGEN). Erik began his career as a molecular biologist and cardiovascular research scientist at Berlex Biosciences, the North American affiliate of Schering AG.
