Meet Richard Hung, a K-12 certified math teacher and experienced tutor with a passion for leveraging technology to stimulate students’ curiosity and enhance their mathematical abilities. Richard has earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from the prestigious University of California, San Diego.

With over a decade of teaching experience, Richard has held various roles in different educational institutions, including being a Middle School Math Teacher, 7th Grade Dept Lead, Test Question Developer, Substitute Teacher, and now, a current 7th Grade Math Teacher and Tech TOSA at Palo Alto Unified School District.

Richard has received recognition for his vast contributions to the education sector, including volunteering as a tax preparer at Home Start Inc., owning Richard Hung Tutoring, and being an apprentice teacher at Madison High School.

Throughout his career, Richard has been committed to empowering his students by creating a learning environment that allows them to express, justify, and defend their ideas. He is a believer in experiential learning strategies driven by technology.
