Technical Assistant III Internship

-Began in the pre-sales division where I was handed various sales routes to have a first hands on experience. Together with my supervisor, I  learned how to push the product to different points of sale in order to achieve the daily objective amount of each product. The points of sale included; small markets (colmados), gas stations, supermarkets and restaurants/bars.
- Was introduced to the factory production procedures and quality control sector process. 
- Brief experience on Warehouse management and the differentiated job functions in that area. 
- Experienced the full on Logistics cycle; from pre-sale to production to storage to distribution. 
- Was assigned a project that was to be completed in 2 weeks that would use my experience in the previous areas visited in order to develop a Market Research in random Sales Routes to come up with recommendations of my own as to what to do and how to improve Pepsi’s market share against Coca-Cola’s. My project was the beginning to a major project generated by the company where the Sales and Marketing departments worked together in order to search for areas of improvement to further increase the market share of Pepsi products in Santo Domingo.
