Matthew King is a successful entrepreneur, investor, and connector with a passion for venture capital, entrepreneurship, web3, the metaverse, gaming, mental health, wellness, sustainability, new means of exchange, and new means of connecting. He is the Founder & TechnoViking of Valhalla Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in pioneering founders at the forefront of social and technological movements that resonate with Millennials and Gen Z.

Before founding Valhalla Ventures, Matthew represented F100 clients at Microsoft in Silicon Valley, where he managed channel partners, including Adobe, LinkedIn, IBM, Apttus, and Lithium. He also worked with senior Microsoft executives, such as the Chief Investment Officer and CMO of Microsoft North America. Additionally, Matthew managed capital markets and M&A transactions in Morgan Stanley's technology investment banking group, where he worked closely with top executives at leading technology firms, including Amazon.com, IBM, Fitbit, FirstSolar, and Bloom Energy.

Matthew's educational background includes a BA in Religious Studies from Harvard College and an MBA in Finance from the Yale School of Management. He is an active alumnus and has helped organize large events for California regional Harvard and Yale Clubs.

Matthew's current portfolio includes MoonPay, Protego Trust Company, Terran Biosciences, Lit Protocol, 1v1Me, StadiumLive, Triumph Arcade, Spaceport, Ola GG, MobileCoin, Climax Foods, Global Thermostat, AirCapture, Eleusis, KarmaCheck, Secret Nature, and SimWin Sports. His past experiences include co-founding Kingo Energy, an award-winning social enterprise and renewable energy provider in Guatemala, and organizing or attending Burning Man 10 times.
