Mahdi Tehrani is a technology leader and engineering director with over 20 years of experience in management, technology, analysis, and business operations. He has a proven track record of deploying enterprise applications, managing and training local and distributed teams, and driving solution delivery, budgeting, resourcing, technical and solution architecture, strategic planning, project planning and project scheduling. Mahdi is a hands-on engineer who has experience with Node.js, React.js, test-driven development, and ES6/ES7 JavaScript. He is currently working on prototyping an AWS DynamoDB Lambda Kafka streaming service while overseeing multiple distributed teams and architecting/documenting a completed CI/CD pipeline for a giant bank. Mahdi's interests include machine learning team management, structures, and technologies, as well as motivating his teams, driving agile software development mindset, communicating across business units, and leading by example. He has held a variety of roles, from CTO to Business Analyst, for projects with budgets ranging from $0 to $40M, and has experience in industries such as sports, entertainment, fin-tech, and e-commerce.
