Sam Sahana is a dynamic and innovative CIO/CTO with over two decades of accomplished leadership experience at Board level, often in a multinational or global context and in private equity owned businesses. He specializes in building winning teams, delivering new digital products, services, and customer propositions, turnaround and transformation, and flawless service delivery. Sam has excelled in operations management at scale across various contact centers, financial processing (policies, claims, etc.), physical, and digital operations. He is also experienced in corporate venturing, M&A, outsourcing, offshoring, insourcing, supplier remediation and renegotiation, consulting, client engagement, and P&L ownership. Throughout his career, Sam has worked with various industries including Consumer, Travel, Leisure, Airlines, and Financial Services.
Sam holds an MBA from Manchester Business School, Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University, and Postgraduate qualification from Queen's University Belfast. He has been the Group Chief Technical Officer (Group CIO) at Odeon & UCI Cinemas Group, CIO Advisory and Programme Director - Transformation, Sourcing & Operating Model Design at Aon Risk Solutions, Group Chief Technical Officer and Company Director at EurotaxGlass's Group, and Group CIO at IATA. Previously, he also held the position of Head of Business Programs at Opodo, Head Of Operations at Northbrook Technology, and started his early career in consulting at BT.
