Andy Wild is an accomplished senior executive in the software industry, with a proven track record of building and scaling successful start-ups, turnaround projects and large corporations. With his extensive international experience in technology, he has provided leadership and vision across market strategies, product engineering, marketing and sales disciplines. He has a deep passion for creating market-leading offerings by targeting new buying centers, increasing demand, and implementing high-velocity inbound and outbound sales models.

As President of OpTier, Andy implemented a new company vision targeting the fast-growth analytics and APM cloud markets. He built new SaaS solutions with a focus on addressing buying centers, accelerating sales cycles, and simplifying adoption. He also launched a new inside sales team focused on land & expand sales model, leveraging advanced digital marketing and inbound demand generation. Prior to OpTier, Andy scaled big deal teams focused on new customers and standalone license deals. He delivered multiple mega-deals and grew a new business unit based on innovative offerings. As an IBM global dealmaker, he helped create a $1B annual global business and implemented the strategy for IBM's ELA business.

Andy's education includes a National Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Wakefield College, an Executive Program - Master Dealmaker, Master Dealmaker Program from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School, and a B.Eng First Class (Hons) in Communication Engineering from the University of Leeds.

He has held a variety of executive positions throughout his career, including Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Diamanti, President at Vertica (Acquired by Micro Focus), Chief Revenue Officer at Planet (Exit Type: Equity Deal w/ Google), SVP, Global Corporate Sales at OpenText Corp, SVP Worldwide Sales OpenText Analytics (formerly Actuate) at OpenText Corp, and Regional Director - Enterprise Sales at CA Technologies. Before that, he was Vice President, Global Software Dealmaker at IBM, Global Software Executive - American Express at IBM, and Early Career at Oracle. Andy also previously worked as a CICS Developer (CICS/6000) at IBM Hursley Laboratories.
