Dan Fox is a skilled and experienced business-minded technologist who has spent over 15 years working in different technology sectors. Dan has a broad range of cross-functional technology experience, having worked as an IT administrator and consultant for some of the largest tech firms in Silicon Valley. He also spent a decade building Smarsh into an industry-leading service and business, where he was Director of Sales Engineering and Information Security, and later Director of Technology and InfoSec.
Dan Fox co-founded Securecast, a security awareness subscription service platform that was later acquired by Webroot, a global industry-leading cyber-security company. Further, he worked as the Senior Product Manager at Webroot and currently serves as a VP and partner at ControlMap Inc.
Dan Fox studied Information Technology at Portland Community College and General Studies, Computer/Information Technology Administration, and Business Management at Oregon Institute of Technology. He completed his high school education at Santa Clara High School and obtained his diploma in Information Technology from Technical College San Jose.
Dan currently resides in Portland, Oregon, where he enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his love for Timbers soccer. Some of his interests and hobbies include technology, business management, and information security.
