Sander Scheurwater is a highly skilled and experienced professional with a background in economics and sociology. He studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam and has been working in corporate affairs, public affairs, and EU policy for many years. Currently, he is the Head of Public Affairs for the Americas, Europe, Middle East & Africa (AEMEA) at RICS. Before that, he served as the Director of Corporate Affairs and Communication & External Affairs for RICS in Europe. Scheurwater's previous positions at RICS included Head of External Affairs & EU Liaison, EU Policy & Public Affairs Officer, and EU Policy & Public Affairs Head. He also worked at General Motors in EU Public Affairs.

Throughout his career, Scheurwater has sharpened his skills and abilities in various areas such as public affairs, communication, lobbying, stakeholder management, and EU regulatory affairs. Besides his academic credentials, Scheurwater has an exceptional grasp of the issues facing the real estate and construction industries.
