Anca Rusu is a digital finance specialist with a wide range of experience working in various regions, including Africa, Europe, and Latin America. She has a strong background in fintech, economics, public policy, and program evaluation. Anca is fluent in multiple languages such as English, Spanish, French, and Romanian. With a Master's degree in Public Policy, Development Economics, and International Development from Georgetown University, Anca also holds a Certificate in FINTECH from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Anca's experience in the fintech sector spans across several organizations, such as cLabs as Head of Strategy, Public Sector, the Global Impact FinTech (GIFT) Forum as an Executive Committee Member, and the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum as an Expert Panel member. She also worked as a Senior Digital Finance Consultant at Sparkassenstiftung für internationale Kooperation e.V. and as a Digital Finance Specialist, Financial Institutions Group at IFC - International Finance Corporation. Her experience in policy research and program evaluation is evident in her past roles as an Analyst at The World Bank and as a Teaching/Research Assistant at Georgetown University.
