Sara Schnadt is a well-rounded professional - an experienced designer, engineer, and visual artist. She has worked on several technical projects that required her fine and studio arts skills, data analytics and journalism skills, and experience in satellite imagery field. Her educational background includes studying Fine and Studio Arts at Simon's Rock of Bard College, Bachelor of Arts - BA, Fine Art at Mount Holyoke College, and Masters in Fine Art at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Sara currently works at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Systems Engineer and Architect, designing software experiences and systems for mission operations and scientific research. She has also held various design and technical positions at Planet Labs, Anaconda Inc., censusreporter.org, OpenElections.org, Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, and School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

In her artistic pursuits, Sara creates installation art about information systems and cultural sea change moments in technology innovation. She is a UX and Systems Architect who strives to make complex systems elegant, effective, and user-friendly.
