Sachidananda Benegal

Sachidananda Benegal is a Ph.D. and PGP graduate from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) with a deep academic and practical involvement in entrepreneurship.

His dissertation research focuses on the early stages of entrepreneurship and the impact of social interactions with stakeholders on an entrepreneur's venture building process.

He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science engineering from NITK Surathkal.

With over a decade of experience, Sachidananda has actively engaged with entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, contributing to various programs at NSRCEL like the Launchpad, Goldman Sachs - WSP, and IIDC.

As the former Manager-Operations at NSRCEL, he played a vital role in center operations, interacted with ecosystem stakeholders, and gained insights into the entrepreneurial mindset.

Prior to his doctoral studies, he founded a consulting company aiding SMEs in refining their business processes and operated an education services venture.

Currently, he serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and has held roles at organizations like Parinathi Labs, Permeative Technologies Pvt Ltd, and Canara Bank School of Management Studies.

Sachidananda Benegal's vast experience encompasses academic research, mentoring startups, designing programs, and conducting workshops for entrepreneurs across different growth stages and domains.
