Renato Giugliano is an accomplished film director, producer, and writer with over 12 years of experience in various media formats, including short films, music-videos, documentaries, and web series. Born in Piedimonte Matese, Italy, in 1977, Renato studied "Economy of Tourism" and later moved to Rome to learn scriptwriting and film direction. Throughout his career, Renato has worked with various European production houses, including the BBC, Nukleus Film, and Paperny entertainment, holding positions such as first assistant director, camera operator, and video editor.

Renato directed his first documentary film, COOPERANTI, in 2010, and won several awards for his 2011 film, A GREAT MACEDONIAN. Since then, he has directed numerous social advertisements, short films, and documentaries, including "Status," a web series that won several international awards.

In 2014, Renato collaborated with two other authors to create "Status," for which he wrote the script and directed three episodes, earning recognition for his outstanding work in the project.

Renato's feature debut film, WAR IN CUBA, won several awards, including the Best Emerging Director at Log to Green Movie Award, the Best Story Award, and the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Caorle International Film Festival, and the Best Film and Best Leading Actress at the Reggio Calabria Int. Film Festival. In November 2020, the film will be released in Italy and Spain.
