Amit Kumar
Amit Kumar is a seasoned venture capitalist with a passion for supporting early-stage companies across various industries, including consumer, b2b, and developer-oriented categories. He joined Accel in 2016 and has since then led multiple investments, including Coast, Higo, Unit, Tailscale, Headway, and Chainalysis. He specializes in web3 technology, fintech, and digital health, collaborating closely with industry experts, entrepreneurs, and startups to help them scale and succeed. Prior to his work at Accel, Amit co-founded CardSpring, where he was responsible for engineering its developer-facing API platform. Following Twitter's acquisition of CardSpring, he moved on to lead engineering for several of Twitter's commerce initiatives. Amit is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where he earned a degree in electrical engineering and computer science (EECS). He currently leads the Accel Scholars program at Berkeley and sits on the EECS external advisory board.
