Charlie Kawasaki is a seasoned tech professional with over 40 years of experience in various industries including software, cybersecurity, wireless, networking, and AI/ML. With a strong background in product development, software security engineering, product marketing, public speaking, business development, technical sales, partnership development, patents/trademarks, fundraising, and M&A, Kawasaki has become an expert in his field. He has held various executive and leadership positions throughout his career including CEO at RuleSpace, Executive VP at Creative Multimedia, Director of Development at Central Point Software, and Development Manager at Asymetrix. Currently, he serves as CTO for PacStar, Consultant for Tozny and DeepSurface, Principal of Software Diligence Services, LLC, and EIR for Galois, Inc. In addition, Kawasaki is heavily involved in the tech community, serving as a board member of Technology Association of Oregon, vice-chair of Oregon Cybersecurity Advisory Council, and executive committee for the Industry Advisory Board at Oregon State University. He is also part of the Leadership Board for the Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum in Portland. Kawasaki studied at the University of Washington.
