Rob Phythian is a sports industry executive with an impressive career spanning several decades. With a proven track record of success in digital, print, technology, and sales, he has held various esteemed positions that have allowed him to make a significant impact in the sports world. Currently, Rob serves as the Chairman of SportsHub, a widely-recognized game provider that distributes real money fantasy sports games and contests through its popular SportsHub Games Network. Prior to his work at SportsHub, Rob co-founded and led SportsData as CEO, where he oversaw corporate operations, business development, and strategic partnerships. SportsData was later sold to international data company Sportradar AG, where Rob served as the CEO of Sportradar US until August 2015. Some of the key league and customer relationships he worked on include Google, Turner Sports, NBC, CBS, and the NFL.

Before Sportradar US, Rob founded Fanball.com, the largest fantasy sports pure play website globally, in 1998. During this time, he secured significant deals with Turner Sports Interactive, AOL, NASCAR.com, and PGATour.com. He then became the president of the sports division of FUN Technologies after it acquired Fanball. Rob's expertise in the fantasy sports industry started earlier in his career when he co-founded and owned Fantasy Football Weekly, the first weekly fantasy sports magazine, which grew to a circulation of over 500,000 and garnered one of the highest sell-through rates of all sports titles in the industry. Notably, Rob is also a member of the Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame.

Rob received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He is also currently the CEO at SharpLink and was previously the President at OPEN Sports Network, Inc.
