Before Overpass, Eric worked as a Chinese Mandarin and Vietnamese linguist for the US Army, a software developer at media outlets such as BBC Worldwide, as well as various investment banks and telecom companies such as BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, and Barclays Capital. Eric studied at Montgomery High School in San Diego before going on to obtain a BA in History from Central Missouri State and Diplomas in Chinese Mandarin and English from the Defense Language Institute and Springfield Central High School.
