I was one of about 30 students selected to attend. I took courses on three topics: formal semantics (in particular the semantics of questions), computability and Gödel's incompleteness theorems, and decision theory with imprecise probabilities. I also attended the Attitudes and Questions Workshop, a conference on the relationship between propositional attitudes and questions.

In addition, I attend lecture to assist with running class and sometimes to give presentations. Finally, I grade weekly problem sets.

I was one of sixteen students chosen to attend the UCLA Summer School in Logic. I took two intensive graduate-level courses in mathematical logic, "Determinacy" and "First order logic and Gödel's incompleteness theorems," spending most of the day in class and most of the evening doing problem sets.

I mentored two high school students in order to enrich their mathematical education and encourage them to pursue mathematics in college. I guided them in developing several skills, including problem solving, giving presentations, and mathematical writing.
