Mike Barash is a seasoned marketing and PR professional with an impressive background in brand building and communication strategy. After studying creative writing, marketing, English, and communications at the University of California, Davis, Mike began his career in PR as a Senior Account Executive at Neale May & Partners, where he managed accounts for clients such as Hewlett-Packard and Ford Motor Company.

From there, he held various leadership roles at well-known PR agencies, including OutCast Communications, Ketchum, and Atomic PR, where he served as Vice President. In 2008, Mike joined the team at Blurb, where he led the company's marketing and global PR efforts. During his time at Blurb, Mike helped turn the photo book company into a publishing industry disruptor with more than $100 million in annual revenues.

In 2013, Mike co-founded WE Codeword, a hybrid PR, content, advertising, branding and design agency that has built campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world. As a founding partner, Mike brings his expertise in public relations, marketing, and brand strategy to Codeword's clients.

Mike has been mentored by some of the sharpest and most respected brains in the business, including Caryn Marooney and Margit Wennmachers, the original founding team at The OutCast Agency, and Andy Getsey and James Hannon, the founders of Atomic PR. Mike's passion for brand building and communication strategy, combined with his extensive experience in the industry, make him a driving force in the world of PR and marketing.
