Chad Byers is a co-founder and General Partner at Susa Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in marketplaces, fintech, and healthcare startups. Having grown up in Silicon Valley, Chad was exposed to entrepreneurship and venture capital at an early age. He brings years of experience to his role and has previously held various marketing and product roles at Electronic Arts, Silver Spring Networks, and Bloom Energy. Chad is passionate about skiing, mountains, and the outdoors, which led him to Boulder, Colorado, where he received a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. His love for venture capital led him to co-found Susa Ventures, where he focuses on investments in companies such as Robinhood, Andela, Newfront Insurance and Stord. Chad was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 for VC in 2015.
