Holding a PGDM/MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad and a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, Kurup's skill set spans across various fields such as Strategy, Transformation, Digitization, and Enterprise Improvement. His career has been distinguished by his exceptional leadership abilities, sharp analytical acumen, and problem-solving skills.

Before transitioning into his current role as Senior Project Manager of Operational Excellence at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Kurup served as AVP of Group Transformation at Emirates NBD, and Lean Manager of Strategy & Transformation at Tanfeeth - Emirates NBD. Additionally, he has worked as a Management Consultant at well-known firms like Value Partners and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he put his unique skill set towards transformative initiatives to improve businesses’ various operations.

In his early career, Kurup spent a summer as an intern at Godrej Sara Lee Limited and worked as a Management Trainee for Sales & Marketing at Colgate Palmolive.
