Jennifer Tewell is a skilled and accomplished fundraiser and communications specialist with over fourteen years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communications. Additionally, she holds an Associate of Arts degree and is a Certified Trainer in several social service based curricula. Jennifer has worked as Membership and Communications Manager at Ohio ACTE, Logistics Coordinator at Ohio Assoc. of Community Action Agencies, and Event Planner/Fundraiser at Northwest Community Center. Currently, she is the Principal at Jennifer Tewell Consulting, where she provides cost-effective solutions for streamlining processes, especially communications and technology. She is passionate about organizations and businesses that are living their mission while impacting their communities. Her "make it happen" work style and her ability to break huge projects into manageable pieces have been instrumental in generating millions of dollars for different groups through event fundraising, advocacy, and membership initiatives. She created and executed an extensive online grassroots advocacy campaign for 15 socioeconomically diverse agencies statewide, resulting in a change in state law and restoring 100 million dollars to the state budget for aging services.
