Greg Lipper is a highly skilled trial and appellate litigation partner with extensive expertise in criminal defense, complex civil litigation, civil-rights litigation, First Amendment, oral advocacy, digital and social media. He studied JD, magna cum laude at Harvard Law School and BA in American Studies and Political Science at Northwestern University. Lipper started his legal career at Covington & Burling, where he practiced white-collar criminal defense and trial and appellate litigation, and First Amendment advice. He then spent over five years at Americans United for Separation of Church and State as a Litigation Counsel and Senior Litigation Counsel, where he handled trial and appellate litigation of First Amendment and other religious-freedom cases.
