Tobias Gondrom is a highly experienced and globally recognized security and technology thought leader, currently serving as the Group CISO and Managing Director at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB). With prior experience as the Global CTO Security for a global IT company and serving as a board member and former chairman of OWASP Global Board and the IETF Trust, Gondrom has played an instrumental role in the global standardization of cybersecurity practices.

At UOB, Gondrom leads oversight of the entire security portfolio, including security strategy, governance, policy, regulation, education and awareness programs, planning, architecture, security engineering, and security risk management. He manages the budget for the group-wide security portfolio of run-the-bank and change-the-bank security programs. Additionally, he is responsible for a full spectrum end-to-end Security Engineering portfolio of security tools and technologies, including advanced security analytics, security event monitoring, and logging, DLP, fraud monitoring tools, network security controls, host and system security, crypto key management, and identity and access management systems. His efforts have led to the development of a mature and effective Group-wide Security Operations Center with 24/7 security operations and monitoring, threat intelligence, threat hunting, investigations, and incident response.

Gondrom's professional experience also includes managing complex organizations, change management, project management, M&A, strategy, architecture, SDLC, software development processes and standards. He is highly skilled in leading large organizations, management and negotiation, business administration, software development, software architecture, and international standardization organizations. Gondrom holds multiple professional certifications, including CCISO, CISSP, and CSSLP, and has studied Information Systems and Physics in his education.
