Led large-scale customer experience efforts driven by operational metrics.  Developed project management expertise across multiple disciplines within a variety of industries.Project examples:Conducted process, educational and organizational analysis for the development of new airline operations control centers for two major airlines.  Both engagements led to strategic shifts in operational decision-making, improved customer service and and management of variable costs.Developed an online and classroom learning strategy based upon equipment delivery rates, scheduling, costs, credits, and global learning opportunities.  This educational acquisition saved over $1 million in costs while providing higher fidelity training than that offered by the original equipment manufacturer.Served as Program Manager for a 600 person process and information technology team merging parts and engineering / maintenance systems. Evaluated and revised the entire Human Resources training curriculum for a major American city.  Initiatives led to improvement in customer service, employee evaluation, supervisor performance and outsourcing decisions.Evaluated a major medical university’s online Nursing Ph.D. program for effectiveness and sustainability.Created a needs and criticality analysis used by Boeing Commercial Services to identify B787 Dreamliner educational and maintenance support requirements.Developed an entirely new Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) to evaluate, analyze and correct deficiencies in the performance and effectiveness of inspection and maintenance programs at the world’s largest regional airline.  Taught Organizational Behavior and Project Management as a Visiting Instructor in the School of Business and Economics at The College of Charleston.

Initiatives led to major advances in aircrew / operations center coordination and learning.  Process and collaborative learning efforts led to a 400-percent increase in sortie production, a 300-percent increase in service to geographic locations, a 228-percent increase in passengers carried and a 10-percent increase in the amount of cargo delivered.Created market entrance and knowledge management strategies for a global telecommunications company entering the airport systems integration business producing over $47 million in sales in the first quarter of implementation.Led organizational governance redesign effort within an international paper company. Created metrics that identified previously unseen impacts of pricing strategy to individual and plant performance.  This led to additional production opportunities and competitive advantages in multiple locations throughout the US and Mexico.Created instructional management strategy for large government purchaser of e-learning services from colleges and universities.Developed a major aviation / maritime transportation strategy for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in response to loss of industry on the island.

Focused upon patterns of proactive decision-making with dispersed groups around the world.  This center has been used as a model of operational excellence by numerous major international airlines and government agencies.  Introduced customer relationship management into an international airline's decision-making process resulting in improved customer service and $14.4 million in savings during the first year of operation.  This effort was based upon managing exceptions within enterprise information technology systems that handle 5 million business events a day.Produced an Activity-Based Cost (ABC) model that tracked variable operations costs exceeding $450 million annually.  This model was audited and updated daily through workflow learning and real-time decision support.Led process analysis and change management efforts that created the airline's first object-oriented, three-tiered, client-server computing environment.Implemented the airline's first efforts at electronic performance support systems, video-conferencing and Internet-based applications to enhance organizational learning and performance on a real-time basis.Served as an internal consultant to all training and educational initiatives within the airline.Developed blended e-learning programs from needs analysis through implementation for 27,000 employees of a global organization resulting in $3.5 million in savings annually.Evaluated authoring systems for instructional designers and programmers in early effort to create libraries of learning objects.
