Ruth Elkins is a writer, editor, and journalist with a wealth of experience across multiple media platforms. She studied German, European Studies at the prestigious Department Of Sociology in LSE before moving on to study German, History and French at Bhasvic Sixth Form College. Continuing her education at Priory School, Lewes, she has built up a strong foundation in the humanities.
Elkins has had a rich and varied media career, including stints at The Times, where she worked as a multimedia journalist, Digital Projects Manager, and Assistant News Editor. She also worked as the Deputy Foreign Editor at Sky and Assistant News Editor at The Independent, honing her journalistic skills in different newsroom environments. Her experience extends beyond print and broadcast media, having also been a Project Manager and Bid Consultant at Juice 107.6 FM.
Elkins' expertise in media and communications led her to become a media and communications consultant alongside her work as a freelance writer and journalist. She continues to develop her skills as a contributing writer at Hearst Magazines, where she contributes articles on a range of topics.
