-  Implementation of new ERP-system (NetSuite Oracle)

-  Monthly closing and reporting to EMEA & US stakeholders
-  Quarterly Budget vs Actual reporting per LoB
-  Margin analysis per project and per LoB

Vesteda is a Dutch residential real estate investor with a total invested capital of €7.0 billion. With a portfolio of almost 27.000 residential units, Vesteda is the largest Dutch independent institutional residential investor. Vesteda’s key investment regions are the Randstad region and the Brabant metropolitan area.

As Sr. GL Accountant my responsibilities are the general ledger and the consolidation of the monthly accounting as well numerous other tasks within the organisation.

As Financial Controller I’m responsible for the complete group accounting of
NEPI Rockcastle, a commercial property investor and developer, listed on the
Main Board of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Limited and Euronext
Amsterdam. NEPI Rockcastle holds many commercial real estate assets
- primarily shopping malls) in Central Eastern Europe.

As Financial Controller I had full responsibility for the monthly accounting
general ledger of all the holding companies.

Together with the Group Financial Controller I prepared the monthly
consolidation of the entire group structure (over 80 SPV’s) and the quarterly
reporting for the audit committee.

From January until March 2018 I prepared the Financial Statement and
accompanied the external accountant in their audit on this statement.

Commenda is a multi-family office. It provides high-level services to the UHNWI’s (Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, individuals with a total wealth over € 50 mio).

Within Commenda, I was manager of the Asset Monitoring unit and I was responsible for all the processes which ultimately lead to an advanced asset report as well as in-depth asset analyses. Among my responsibilities and activities were:

- Managing of the team that monitors all the transactions of our clients.
- Meeting with asset managers on behalf of the client. With these asset managers we discussed their performances based on our analysis. We instruct these asset managers according to the clients will. Because of the size of our client’s total wealth I met with the top level executives of asset managers such as: Goldman Sachs, UBS, JP Morgan, Vanguard, Kempen & Co and others.
- I took place in a discussion panel with befriended family offices. A couple times a year I travel to Swiss and there we discuss the developments within our niche as well as software and business developments.

Furthermore I was active as a business developer and managed to develop a new way of adding value for our clients. In a couple years time me and the owner of Commenda managed to grow my department significantly in size as well as in earnings per client ratio.

Manager Asset Monitoring / Sr. Reporting Analyst

As a hired consultant I was responsible for various tasks within the team PCNL Triple A Support. One of the tasks was overseeing the monthly report run, in which we generated around 60.000 asset reports for the PCNL and DPM clients. Besides this and various other tasks that all had something to do with portfolio analyses, I managed to improve multiple processes which lead to a more efficient way of working for the team members.
