Michael Klayko is a seasoned operating executive and entrepreneur with an education in electronic engineering, executive education, and corporate governance from prestigious institutions like Ohio Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and UCLA. Klayko has an extensive background in corporate management, having held top executive and board positions in various technology companies such as Brocade, Rhapsody Networks, and Allscripts, to name a few.
As former CEO of Brocade, Klayko led the company to new heights, thanks to his exceptional leadership skills and expertise in sales and marketing. He also served as Chairman of the Board at Allscripts and has been on the board of other tech companies like TIBCO and CYRUS ONE.
Klayko's career path started with design engineering at Docutel Corporation, which led to his sales and marketing executive position at IBM. He later served as a Director of Marketing at Hewlett Packard and Senior Vice President of Sales North America at EMC Corporation.
Klayko's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish MKA Capital LLC, a private investment and consulting firm that provides advice and growth opportunities for other companies. He later became an Operating Executive at Marlin Equity Partners.
Aside from his management and business acumen, Klayko has a keen interest in public board education, corporate governance, and entrepreneurship. He completed an Entrepreneurial Executive Education Program at Babson College and a Public Board education for Corporate Governance at Stanford University Law School.
