Luis Giraldo is a talented digital journalist with a wealth of experience creating content for various platforms. He is currently employed as a Content Manager at CBS News, where he has contributed significantly to the production of famous programs such as “Change and Challenge: The Inauguration of Donald Trump," the 2016 Pulse Nightclub network coverage in Orlando, and the Murrow-award winning documentary "39 Days."

He is originally from Bogotá, Colombia and moved to the United States when he was nine years old, settling in Fort Myers, Florida. Luis holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications, Spanish, and Violin Performance from the University of Florida.

Luis’ diverse career has seen him hold various positions at reputable organizations such as Oregon Public Broadcasting, WUFT & WRUF, Gulfshore Life Magazine, and Suite Life Magazine. He also served as a Vice President of Programming at the Hispanic Student Association.

Luis has excellent communication skills, and throughout his career, he has demonstrated the ability to craft compelling stories that resonate with various audiences. Currently, he is developing podcasts for CBS News and 48 Hours. For his latest project, he partnered with the acclaimed Erin Moriarty for her "My Life of Crime" podcast.
