Our task force prepares and cooks 200+ hot breakfasts on Friday mornings to serve to local food banks and shelters in Santa Clara County. As part of the leadership team, I help coordinate food pick-up prior to Friday and plan for student transportation.

10-week case working for a southern Californian entitled real estate company to propose possible exit strategies. Specifically analyzing the benefits of joint ventures and its functionality within the industry, as well as the feasibility of special purpose acquisition companies. Developed investment pitch decks and interviewed top real estate advisors.

The United Nations Academic Impact and Millennium Campus Network have partnered to create this developmental fellowship to pursue for the 2020 fall quarter. With a 6% acceptance rate, I am beyond honored to be considered a member of the cohort. Over the next couple months, I will be pursuing a project which aligns with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals by trying to ensure equality and equity in the upcoming general election. I am excited to build as a leader and collaborate with other brilliant minds.

2020 Millennium Fellowship @ United Nations

Research with government officials, election experts, and professors around the world to serve as an educative resource and problem solving team to address the unprecedented and ongoing threat that the COVID-19 pandemic poses to the 2020 primary and general election

Research Assistant at the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society

Hosted public policy forums for insightful political discourse by communicating with representatives in various student run organizations across Stanford’s campus. Organized and led weekly discussions at Stanford in Government meetings to teach and debate both international and domestic policy issues.

Work with staff to allocate the $40,000 budget towards dorm activities and lead all dorm government meetings. This includes trips to Monterrey and Disney Land, as well as dorm activities that include professionally led square dancing, writing valentines notes, parents weekend, and a talent show.

Explored the idea of Effective Altruism by challenging their belief system and navigating the information to make it more applicable towards my life. This includes:
-  Applying quantitative reasoning to identify highest-priority world challenges
-  Quantifying complex intangibles, such as marginal benefit to society of philanthropic giving and career choice

Created a post-card party that connects the commonwealth to their respective representatives in an effort to reduce gun violence. Developed legislative awareness and worked closely with Philadelphia government officials to combat gun violence ranging from mass shootings to firearm suicide and Extreme Risk Protection Orders.
